Data on consumer price indices were published in the Official Gazette of the RS No. 74, of March 12, 2024 that measure changes in the prices of products and services that households purchase to meet their needs, and are also used as a measure of inflation.
Consumer price in February 2024 compared to January 2024 are higher by 0.6%, while in January compared to December they are higher by 0.3%.
Consumer prices in February 2024 compared to the same month of the previous year incerased by 5.6%. Price incerases were recorded for:
- alcoholic beverages and tobacco, transport, restaurants and hotels, food and soft drinks, health,
- housing, water, electricity, gas, equipment for the apartment and ongoing maintenance.
