The Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Serbia has announced several financial support programs aimed at the development of the manufacturing sector, with a particular focus on micro and small enterprises, entrepreneurs, and cooperatives.

The programs are designed to improve production capacities, modernize equipment, and strengthen the competitiveness of domestic producers.

Support for the Manufacturing Industry

Within the currently open public calls, several financial support programs are available for business entities in the manufacturing sector, including the production of dairy products, wine, beer and spirits, as well as the production of clothing made from textiles and leather.

For the implementation of these programs in 2026, non-refundable funds have been allocated, distributed across several dedicated support programs.

The Support Program for Small Manufacturers in the Processing Industry provides RSD 150 milion primarily intended for production modernization, the purchase of new or used production equipment (up to five years old), and the improvement of technological processes.

The Support Program for Food Producers, including producers of dairy products, wine, beer, and spirits, has a budget of RSD 80 milion and is aimed at increasing production capacities and improving product quality.

The Support Program for the Production of Clothing from Textiles and Leather is intended for businesses operating in the textile and leather industries, with a total of RSD 40 milion in grants available for improving production processes and technological modernization.

Funds within these programs may be used for:

  • purchase of new or used production equipment (up to 5 years old)
  • purchase of delivery vehicles and transport equipment
  • specialized tools and parts for production processes
  • improvement of energy efficiency and environmental standards in production
  • adaptation and improvement of production facilities
  • purchase of computer equipment and software licenses
  • permanent working capital and operating costs (up to 20% of the total investment)

The programs are primarily intended for micro and small enterprises, entrepreneurs, and cooperatives registered no later than December 31, 2023, while certain programs also allow participation of newly established businesses.

An additional feature of these programs is the combination of non-refundable grants with the beneficiary’s own co-financing, encouraging the implementation of investments that contribute to the long-term development and modernization of production.

Application deadline: until the funds are exhausted, and no later than April 30, 2026.
