In January 2026, the Provincial Secretariat for Economy and Tourism (hereinafter: ,,Secretariat”) published two public calls which constitute a legal basis for granting de minimis State aid, with the shared objective of encouraging investment, sustainability and competitiveness of economic operators in the territory of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.
Public Call for the Award of Non-Repayable Funds to Micro and Small Companies and Entrepreneurs for the Subsidisation of Costs of Procuring Fixed or Working Capital Assets in 2026
- Under this public call, non-repayable funds in the total amount of RSD 219,500,000.00 are awarded with a view to supporting further growth and improving the business operations of micro and small economic operators in the territory of AP Vojvodina.
- Funds are granted on a reimbursement basis, up to 80% of the invoice value excluding VAT (excluding ancillary procurement costs), in an amount ranging from RSD 700,000.00 to RSD 2,000,000.00 per beneficiary.
- It is important to note that only those costs are eligible which relate to procurement that has been purchased, delivered and paid in full (cumulatively) in the period from 1 February 2025 until the date of closure of the public call.
- The public call clearly differentiates eligible procurements (e.g. new machinery and equipment intended for professional use; certain investments in energy efficiency and renewable energy sources; and strictly defined categories of electric/hybrid vehicles intended exclusively for the applicant’s own business needs) from those expressly excluded.
- Of particular relevance are the provisions excluding reimbursement where liabilities towards the supplier have been settled in cash or through legal mechanisms such as set-off, assignment, cession/assignment of receivables, or assumption of debt, as well as in cases of leasing or procurement intended for further rental/letting.
- The deadline for submission of applications is from 19 January to 3 February 2026.
Public Call for the Award of Non-Repayable Funds to Economic Operators for the Co-Financing of Projects of Importance for the Development of the Tourism Potential of AP Vojvodina in 2026
- Under this public call, non-repayable funds in the total amount of RSD 500,000,000.00 are awarded for the purpose of co-financing projects of importance for the development of the tourism potential of AP Vojvodina in 2026, providing support to economic operators active in the hospitality and tourism sector.
- Funding is awarded at an intensity of up to 80% of eligible costs excluding VAT, in amounts determined per individual eligible purpose, in accordance with the Rulebook on the Award of Non-Repayable Funds to Economic Operators for the Co-Financing of Projects of Importance for the Development of the Tourism Potential of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina in 2026.
- Eligible purposes are broadly defined and include, inter alia, works on tourism superstructure facilities (construction, extension, reconstruction, adaptation, remediation and investment maintenance), preparation of design and technical documentation, installation of chargers, procurement of professional machinery and equipment for accommodation facilities and food and beverage service facilities, introduction of technological innovations in promotion and operations, as well as investments in solar panels and certain categories of new vehicles intended exclusively for the applicant’s own business needs.
- The public call also provides for specific eligibility requirements relevant to hospitality facilities, including (where applicable) registration of facilities in the eTourist system, compliance with minimum technical requirements, possession of the relevant competent authority act/permit for works, and a duly regulated ownership/leasehold status of the property (with the possibility of a prescribed minimum lease term).
- In addition, it should be emphasised that the amount of approved funds may not exceed the applicant’s reported operating revenue as set out in the statistical report for 2025 submitted to and published by the Serbian Business Registers Agency, and that, as a rule, the subject matter of the investment may not be alienated or granted for use to third parties without the consent of the Secretariat for a minimum period of 24 months from the date of signature of the grant agreement.
- The deadline for submission of applications is 6 February 2026.
