Conference “EU-Serbia 2018” held in Belgrade

Serbian Chamber of Commerce (SCC) in cooperation with EU Delegation to Serbia organized the conference “EU-Serbia 2018: investment, growth and employment” that was held at Metropol Palace hotel in Belgrade on January 31, 2018.
Marko Čadež, President of the SCC has opened the conference and after that financial contracts and agreements on the modernization of the railway infrastructure in Serbia were signed. The Prime Minister of Serbia Ms Ana Brnabić and Antonio Taiani, President of European Parliament, have also addressed to the participants. The Prime Minister pointed that Serbia is the most successful country in the Region in attracting foreign investment. Representatives of the Ministry of Economy, the European Investment Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and successful Serbian entrepreneurs have participated on panel discussion, next to the representatives of European associations for help and support to small and medium-sized companies.
More than two hundred registered entrepreneurs from Serbia, EU and western Balkan have held bilateral meetings in the second part of this conference, within the enterprise network. This conference made opportunities to its participants to explore business and investment possibilities, to realize many cross-border contacts and also to target potential business partners through the pre-scheduled appointments.
